Everyone has a different idea of what perfect is. No one can 100% please another person because we all have different values and ideas. But most of us try to. You can never know what another person is going through and how they’re feeling, and they will never know how you are. I rarely know how I feel and normally I don’t really want to. Life sucks. It’s definetly hard and is supposedly fair. Makes you think that maybe reincarnation does exist… Maybe you did kill a person in a past life. Or set someone’s house on fire. But it can have its perks. When you sit and laugh with your friends and feel high on nothing at all. When you cuddle that person that you love. When you find the world’s tastiest nachos at a crappy lunch bar. Those moments can be tiny but if you look closely they can make us happy. They show how quickly moods can change and teach us to embrace them. They are nice moments. They can be so helpful. If there is one thing I’ve learnt so far this year, it’s that you can push people away so easily without even trying to at all. And people can get mad at you for something you didn’t even know about, or through miscommunication. It’s easy to blame people for something to make ourselves feel a little bit better about a situation. And were all guilty of it. I’ve been doing hypnosis and I think it’s helping me learn to take care of myself. So cliche. I’ve never been good at doing that. I don’t like it. I find it uncomfortable to be nice to myself and give up so easy. But apparently it’s important.
So I’m asking you all, and of course reminding myself, to give everyone a break. I guess you always have to do what you think is right- whether it be a situation at work or trouble within friendship circles… we are all lost souls trying to find a cause in this world before our time is up. We’re all trying to be happy and have a good time with good experiences. Maybe we all need to do whatever the fuck we want and not look back.
